We are always in a constant state of growth, learning lessons each and every day. Some of us may choose to ignore the growth and the lessons but that does not mean they are not there. If we become willing to acknowledge them, we will open up a path in front of us that will surely lead us to success. Are you willing?
Everyone who comes into your life is bringing you many gifts, including opportunities to learn about you - who you are, what you like, and how you want to be. Some of us may have challenging relationships with our parents. Others may be struggling to get along with co-workers. Yet others are wondering how they can fix their relationships with their significant others. Every person in your life is teaching you something right now. This is why they can all be considered your blessings, whether your relationships are friendly or hostile or even neutral.
We can learn to "not react" to those people in our lives who challenge us about our opinions, actions, and plans. We can appreciate the peace that comes with beautifully loving people who show their love for us by listening to us and sharing their lives with us. Each person who crosses our path brings a blessing with them, even if they do not realize it. Our worst enemies, our ex-spouses, our difficult co-workers all bring with them a blessing to be bestowed upon us, if we will accept the challenge. There are those who believe their struggles with certain people actually prompted them to get help, improve their lives, and learn that they are worthy of good. That is truly a blessing.
So, the next time you are wondering why someone is giving you a hard time, look for the lesson. It might just catapult you to a whole new level of living. You may find a sense of peace and self-worth that you never thought was possible. It might just be a true blessing!
Today I will remember all of the blessings that have come to me through people. They were put into my life for a reason and I will always be grateful that I learned something from everyone. - K Kerswig, Blue Skies Life Coaching
