What would your life be like if you followed your heart and began to go in a new direction? What would your life be like if you let go of the worry and the indecision that comes up for you and started making a living doing what you love to do? It is possible to do this, so the question becomes, are you willing to allow yourself to think about what it is you really want to do? It can't hurt to try!
There are times in our lives when we are led to take action even when it does not make sense to us. We may be led to switch careers at at time when we think it is unwise to do so. We may find ourselves contemplating a return to school, even if we are older than all of the other students in the classroom. We may be leaning towards working with a group or an organization that had never gotten our attention in the past. It does not matter what scenario we face - the fact is that if we follow our inner guidance, we may just find out that our greatest dreams are about to be fulfilled.
It can be very scary to listen to that inner voice sometimes. That intuition may be telling us to do something that contradicts our long-term goals or plans. It is okay to be in a state of confusion though. It allows us to think "outside of the box". It allows us to think of new possibilities. And, if we follow through on some of these new ideas, we may just find a new career, hobby, or interest that had never occurred to us in the past. This is not about taking action that is irresponsible. This is about thinking and researching and contemplating and following our inner guidance. It is an exciting and rejuvenating way to approach life. The beauty is that anyone can live this way.
All you need to do to get started is to get still, be quiet, and listen for your inner voice to speak to you. Do not put expectations or deadlines on when your answers should start coming. Just get still and listen. Your answers will come to you when the time is right. Start today! You will be glad you did.
Today I will be still and listen to my inner voice. I will allow the guidance to come to me and I will follow my heart. I am grateful. - K Kerswig, Blue Skies Life Coaching
