What can we expect now that 2013 has arrived? What direction should we choose for this new year? Maybe it is time to release our old beliefs and start anew. Maybe it is time to release our fears and face life's challenges with courage and daring. Maybe it is time to release judgment of others and begin taking action to improve self. Would this make a difference in your life?
When we release negativity, it opens us up to a new way of life that is so exciting, so appealing, and so enjoyable in every way. It might surprise some people that focusing on self is the way to bring happiness into one's life, no matter what is going on outside of self. The opinions of other people do not matter as much when we are focused only on ourselves. It has been referred to as keeping our side of the street clean. Can we really do this? Can we remain focused on self and let go of the need to help others find their way?
It is possible to remain this focused and this determined. It can happen for anyone who is willing to ask for help, reach out to others when necessary, and trust that working together with people will always bring better results. We do not need to work against each other in order to "get ahead" or be successful. There is enough "good" in this world for everyone to experience success. It is time to release our old beliefs, our fears, and our judgment. If 2013 is devoted to this type of release, we could bring about a change in this world, a change that is much needed. Will you consider doing something different this year? Blessings to all who choose to take this new path. And, blessings to anyone and everyone who may be considering it. Happy New Year!
Today I will release the negativity in my life. I will begin 2013 by making responsible decisions. I will only focus on keeping my side of the street clean. I am truly grateful for my life today. And so it is - Amen. - K Kerswig, Blue Skies Life Coaching
