"I'm having a glorious old age. One of my greatest delights is that I have outlived most of my opposition." - Maggie Kuhn, activist
It is wonderful to be able to enjoy living life at any age. But to appreciate it into old age and continue to live life to the fullest is the greatest achievement of all.
Attitude has much to do with the quality of life we experience. Having an attitude of gratitude changes the complexion of our lives enormously. It is not always easy to remain grateful through challenges and difficulties yet it is the best way to get through them all. There is a lesson in everything we experience. Sometimes we need to go through the same issues over and over again until we finally learn the lesson that is ours to learn. We can be grateful for all of our lessons because they help us move forward and grow spiritually.
Life is short so it is wise to live life in the present moment. If we are blessed to reach old age, and if we have learned to live a day at a time, we will be blessed with a joy of living, no matter what age we are.
Today I will enjoy my day, living in the present moment, and finding comfort in the experience of living rather than existing. I am grateful.
