"People's dreams are made out of what they do all day. The same way a dog that runs after rabbits will dream of rabbits. It's what you do that makes your soul, not the other way around." - Barbara Kingsolver, novelist, poet, and founder of the Bellwether Prize
What do you dream about? Do you find yourself daydreaming throughout the day? Is something on your mind that just won't go away, no matter how hard you try? Maybe it is time to acknowledge it, pay attention to its meaning, and take action.
There are times in our lives when we seem to be getting 'messages' from every direction, guiding us to do something that concerns us in some way. We may be afraid to reach for our dreams and step outside the 'box' in order to achieve them. Fear of the unknown can sometimes stop us from moving on with our lives, possibly ending one relationship or committing to a new one. The important thing is to take the actions that will help us move forward regardless of the fear we may have.
We are here for a reason. We are called to do great things and we are strong enough to accomplish them if we pace ourselves and remain steady as we reach our goals. So, become aware of what you are dreaming about, take action when the messages are clear, and do your best each and every day. You may just surprised yourself in all that you accomplish.
Today I will pay attention and acknowledge the dreams and ideas that come to me most. I am committed to taking positive action and I am grateful to be alive. - K Kerswig, CPC, CRC
