"To regret your sins of commission as much as your sins of omission is to prove yourself a most unworthy sinner." - Elizabeth Bibesco, writer and poet
This is one of those quotes that has me befuddled. I'm not sure I agree with the statement, but I do know this. Today I choose to live my life by taking risks, believing in my abilities, and trusting the process as things work themselves out according to the laws of the universe.
I've come to recognize that regrets have no place in my life anymore. I don't regret my past because it has gotten me to where I am today. If I hadn't made every single choice exactly as I did, I wouldn't have learned the lessons I learned and I wouldn't have been blessed with such a joyous spiritual awakening. I wouldn't trade this for anything. I'm more aware of Spirit working in my life now. I'm more aware of the many "coincidences" that occur throughout my day. I choose to believe the Higher Power in my life orchestrates these events perfectly. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and thanking God every night for the lessons and love I receive each day. Not all days are perfect, but I trust that all is well. Namaste.
