Life Is...

"Life is an opportunity, benefit from it. Life is beauty, admire it. Life is bliss, taste it. Life is a dream, realize it. Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a duty, complete it. Life is a game, play it. Life is a promise, fulfill it. Life is sorrow, overcome it. Life is a song, sing it. Life is a struggle, accept it. Life is a tragedy, confront it. As I was typing this entry all I could think of was "Wow, there's a lot to life!". There really is and yet, Mother Teresa captured it all in this paragraph. Life is life and I can promise you I want to experience it for as long as possible. I pray you do too.

A few of these statements jumped out at me. Meeting the challenge, completing the duty, and fulfilling the promise of life got my attention. I can do these things now. I have friends who love and support me. I have a group of close friends who I love and support. Nothing lasts forever which means that the struggles and challenges are not permanent. With the support of good people around us, we can do well in life and enjoy the journey in the process.

Today I choose to benefit, admire, taste, realize, meet, complete, play, fulfill, overcome, sing, accept, confront, dare, make, not destroy, and fight for life. This is going to be a VERY busy day! ;)
