Change Can Be Good

"I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse to be reduced by it." - Maya Angelou, poet, educator, historian, best-selling author, and activist

Change is inevitable. It happens to all of us and it is probably the only constant in our lives. We can learn to adapt to the changes that happen in our lives and we can grow spiritually as a result of each change. We can even learn to welcome change with open arms rather than shying away from it.

Some changes in our lives are HUGE; others are minute. Either way, we will enjoy life more if we are accepting  of the changes that come our way. When we try to force things to stay the same, we sometimes create more problems than we can handle. Acceptance helps us face what our reality truly is and we are then able to seek out solutions. We do not need to stay in the problem now. We can look for solutions, knowing that we will find them, one way or another.

Today I will seek solutions and welcome the changes in my life. This is how I know I am alive and well. I am grateful.
