"The fundamental right of freedom of thought and expression is essential. If you curtail what the other fellow says and does, you curtail what you yourself may say and do." - Eleanor Roosevelt, first lady (1933 - 1945) and reform leader
We do not have to focus on judging others as much as we need to focus on ourselves. We have the freedom to express ourselves and we have the freedom to think as we choose. If we remain focused on our thoughts and actions, we will get better results.
It goes without saying that not everyone in this world is focused on helping others and doing good. The important thing is to be sure we are doing the next right thing each and every day. As we consistently act appropriately and behave properly, we will show others the best options in how to be the best that they can be. Whether they choose to improve their behavior is strictly up to them. We do not have to be in charge of how the example is received - we are simply responsible for setting the example in the first place.
It is not necessary to take on the world all in one day. Step by step, we can make our world a little better every day. This kind of progress will bring great results for everyone. Let's all try this and see what happens!
Today I will express myself in a caring and thoughtful way to all I meet. I am grateful.
