I've heard the phrase "everything in moderation", but I must be honest - I'm not very good at living by that motto. If I find something that I like, then my motto seems to be "more, more, more". Unfortunately, sometimes that pertains to things that aren't good for me.
Engineering explosions - that's an interesting concept. In terms of my spirituality, I've been experiencing quite a few explosions lately. I'm learning just how rewarding it can be for me to focus solely on connecting with God through prayer and meditation on a daily basis. There is a peace and tranquility that comes over me just by simply meditating five or ten minutes every day. To consciously connect with God allows me to acknowledge my powerlessness over everything except for me. God helps me manage me - He gives me all the power I need on any given day. It's a perfect arrangement.
So, in my life, moderation in regards to my spiritual life is out of the question. I'm enjoying the spiritual explosions. I hope they keep on coming!
Today I will follow my heart when it comes to moderation versus explosions. I will not hold back on my spiritual journey. I will pursue a deeper spiritual connection with my Higher Power for as long as I am alive. For this, I am grateful. - K Kerswig, Blue Skies Life Coaching
