Look At Our Minds

"It is never too late for any of us to look at our minds. We can always sit down and allow the space for anything to arise." - Pema Chodron, the first Western woman to be ordained in the Tibetan Buddhism tradition

Looking at my own mind was never high on my priority list. I was too busy with everything going on in my life (chaos mostly). I didn't think it was important to quiet my mind and release the thoughts floating around in there. This didn't allow for much growth, I can tell you that much.

Fortunately, I decided that this chaotic living was not the way to go. I made some changes and began to look within, to see who I was, and what improvements I could make. As I looked at my mind, I began to allow myself to go along with the changes that came with this kind of searching. The result was that my mind quieted down and this allowed the spirit within me to guide me to make better choices in my life.

I'm so grateful that this is the path I've chosen to follow. Anything can arise and that is a blessing.
