"It's compassion that makes gods of us." - Dorothy Gilman, writer
I don't know where I would be if my friends hadn't shown me such compassion and understanding in recent years. I've been going through some big changes in my life and my friends have been as gentle as gentle can be with me as I've been striving to move forward on my journey in life.
It is a privilege for me to pass on that compassion to others. This is how I allow more good to come my way. The more I give, the more I receive. I'm told this is a universal law and I'm never one to go against the Universe. It is always best for me to choose to show compassion because people are always dealing with life on life's terms. I never know if they are facing small or big challenges so I have decided it's best to show compassion always. Since I don't ever know when it's going to make a positive difference in some one's life, being consistent is the key to success.
As for compassion making gods of us, I'll pass on commenting about that. It's dangerous for me to inflate my own ego, so I will just keep any comments I may have to myself.
Blessings to all for a wonderful week ahead. Let's stay in the moment, be present, and show compassion to everyone we meet. Our world will benefit if we all do this. Namaste.
