I've always enjoyed watching Ms Gingold act. She always brought a smile to my face. This quote has the same effect for me.

It seems to me that this quote states we all need to focus on what's important and start putting more attention there. There are so many avenues to take in this life; politics does not have to be the only arena we focus upon.

I have some wonderful friends who have decided to place their energies towards helping those who are truly in need of assistance. They work with abuse victims, the homeless, foster children, and cancer patients, just to name a few. These friends of mine lead by example. They don't sit idly by, waiting for something to happen before they take action. They act first and observe the results while they go about their lives.

Today I choose to follow the example set by my friends. I will take action wherever I see that help is needed. I will not wait to be told what to do. I will help first and ask God to do with it what He will. The results will always be up to God. Today I am grateful that I found such selfless people to show me the way to a happier way to live.
