I can't imagine not participating in life now. I love to engage with people and I love to feel all of the emotions that comes with interacting with others. I'm participating in my life every day and I'm enjoying it immensely.

Sometimes I think I've had two lives instead of one. When I was young, I sat back and observed life passing by. I was not a participant. As a child, I learned how to survive and exist. My parents and family members loved me and cared for me, but they showed me more about surviving life rather than living it to the fullest.

These days I live life "out loud" as much as possible. I've come to appreciate every single moment of every single day. It's no longer acceptable for me to sit on the sidelines of life, just being a fan and watching others have all the fun. I'm a participant in my own life now and I think it's important to lead by example, so that the generations that follow will learn to participate as well.

Let's all participate!!! There may be ups and downs, but it all adds up to a fulfilling life. Won't you join me?
