A Long Flight Of Stairs

This just says it all, doesn't it?! Time continues to march on no matter what I do and that is reality. I can accept that.

I have to laugh when I read this because I am noticing the aches and pains in my body more than I used to. Now that I'm in my fifties, I have slowed down a bit. I don't dwell on that though. I feel so much better mentally and spiritually that it makes up for the physical annoyances that come with getting older. My appreciation for living brings out the best in me these days.

I appreciate being alive today and I know that every day I get is a gift. I may not be able to fool the long flight of stairs anymore, but I can enjoy every minute of every day forever!
