God And Money

"If you want to know what God thinks of money, just look at the people he gave it to." - Dorothy Parker, writer, poet, and critic

Well now, this is an interesting suggestion. It makes me wonder because some people have money for awhile but aren't always able to hold onto it. Therefore, if I look at the people who have money right now, how will I know this is the right moment in time to review a person's net worth?

Financial responsibilities have challenged me in the past but I am improving as time goes by. I am coming to understand that it is easier to always make the smart choices when spending my hard-earned money rather than splurging occasionally. It's not fun to play "catch-up" all the time with paying the household bills. I enjoy keeping track of my progress now. It turns out that this is the easier, softer way to live life when it comes to my finances.

I don't think I can truly know what God thinks of money by simply looking at the people he gave it to. I do think that I need to be responsible with my financial decisions and the results will be just as they should be. Today I am grateful that God has blessed me with the ability to earn an honest living. Life is a blessing today.
