I agree with this wholeheartedly. As time marches on and youth fades, we all notice that life's experiences have taught us lessons and made us more courageous and given us more fortitude. Maturity does have it rewards.
I've been told I'm a character at times and I know my friends tell me this with kindness. I also know that I have character defects that rear their ugly heads from time to time. However, having character is a blessing. Today I have integrity and I can face the world with my head held high. I am grateful for my life today and the character that is contributing to my beauty as the days and years go by. I love this quote!
