Resolutions

"I don't make them (New Year's resolutions). Why do it once a year? You should wake up every day and say, 'This is my really good plan', and hope that you stick to it, and where you fall short, that becomes the plan for the next day, and so on." - Julia Roberts, Academy Award-winning actor

I just wrote an article on HubPages.com about my goals (not resolutions) for 2012. You can find it at Articles by K Kerswig - Hub Pages. Setting goals rather than declaring resolutions seems to work best for me. My plan is to set my goals for the coming year and develop a list of steps I need to take in order to achieve these goals. I simply need to do the footwork and release my attachment to the results. If I leave the results up to the Universe, I can focus on getting things accomplished.

So, my main goal in the coming year is to write more. That surprises me a little bit but there it is. I've come to realize that I absolutely love writing this blog and that there is more inside of me that I want to share. I've decided to start writing some articles on various topics to see where that takes me. And, because I'm enjoying the process so much, I intend to continue this blog for 2012, again using the calendar, Believing In Ourselves, published by Andrews McMeel Publishing. As I'm writing this today, it seems like a lot of work, but I'm excited about it all and I believe I'm up to the task.

My hope for everyone is that 2012 brings you everything you desire. There is an infinite supply of resources available to us. I pray that we all tap into our inner resources and create incredibly peaceful and happy lives in 2012. Blessings to all and Happy New Year from me!

K Kerswig
