The Efforts Themselves

This is quite a comparison. I've never thought about my efforts in this way before. I must say I appreciate the author's idea.

I firmly believe that God knows exactly what is in my heart at all times. I believe in a Spirit that dwells within me so I can't possibly think that I'm going to be able to get away with anything without God knowing about it. My efforts today are filled with love, compassion, and a true desire to help another person whenever possible. There was a time in the past when I would have the best of intentions but I never followed through. God knows that my good intentions didn't get me too far. I wasn't sincere and I let it show in my actions.

Today I have one prayer - that I never judge someone by the success of their efforts. Today I choose to love my fellow human beings and leave the "looking at efforts" to God. He's a much better judge than I could ever be. Have a great day everyone!
