No Hopeless Situations

"There are no hopeless situations; there are only men who have grown hopeless about them." - Clare Boothe Luce, dramatist, author, politician, and diplomat

At any given moment, hope can be found. As long as I have breath in my body, there is hope in my life. I've learned this after many years of difficult but necessary lessons along my journey.

I know people who don't feel much hope in their lives. They are sad most of the time and they don't seem to have any kind of spark in them. I recognize this as a lack of hope because I lived that way for the first thirty-five years of my life. I existed but I wasn't living in the true sense of the word. I ended up hitting an emotional bottom that forced me to make a decision to live life differently. The pain got great enough that I was even willing to follow suggestions from people who seemed to be happy most of the time. I didn't like what they were telling me to do but I was desperate and decided I would try anything to be able to have a reason to go on living.

I'm eternally grateful to those who showed me a better way of life. They taught me principles to live by and they led by example. Now it's my goal to do the same for others who feel like life is a chore. I want to share the joy that I have found with as many people as possible. I pray that I will always be willing to share this joy with everyone!
