Make The World Good Enough

"The world is not good enough - we must make it better." - Alice Walker, Pulitzer Prize-winning writer and poet

There is always room for improvement - in the world as well as in people. The challenge can be when we all have a different idea of how to make things better. Every one's perspective is unique.

The most important idea is for everyone to make the effort to make the world "good enough". If every individual on the planet focused on helping three people each day, imagine how much good energy could be generated. The energy that comes from this good would spread across countries and soon all of us would be on the same page, doing the same things, for the same goal - making the world better or "good enough".

When I focus on doing for others, my days seem to go smoother and I feel genuinely better because of the help, joy, or happiness I helped someone else find. My life is not all about me these days. Now it's about other people too. I still think about self much of the time, but not nearly as much as I used to. It's progress for me. So, let's work together to make the world better. We can do it. I know we can.

I am grateful.
