Into The Past...

I am conscious of the great line of men and women stretching out behind me. I am here because so many gave everything they had to allow me to live the life I live today. It is an amazing concept and sometimes difficult to grasp.

I am blessed with my life today. I am grateful because I am learning something new every day. I've come to realize that I will be learning new things for the rest of my life. Sometimes it's about me on a personal level; sometimes it's about the world in general. Either way, I am learning. It feels so good I want to share it with everyone I know.

My friends think I'm a little too happy sometimes but I can honestly say it's a natural high - the best kind of high to have. Today I will be conscious of those who came before me and showed me there is a way to enlightenment and freedom and happiness. It starts from within. I am grateful.
