Compel My Strength

I have come to realize that I can choose my friends today. I don't have to settle for a relationship with anyone who doesn't treat me with respect. I deserve to always be treated in a kind and loving way. All people deserve this.

This quote got my attention with the phrase "with a deeper instinct". As I practice prayer and meditation, going deep within myself, I notice that my intuition gets stronger and guides me in an appropriate direction all the time. I believe that as I go within, I tap into Spirit, the Source of everything I need to live a happy and prosperous life. There is an infinite supply within me - all I need to do is connect with it during some quiet time each day.

As for the quote above, I must say that this doesn't pertain only to choosing a man for me. This quote for me refers to choosing anyone to invite into my life. Anyone who compels my strength and treats me respectfully is welcomed into my life with open arms. I've been blessed with many true friends as a direct result of this philosophy. And so I will continue to pray and meditate in order to strengthen my deeper instinct. And so it is.
